Counselling and Psychotherapy
Experiencing life means experiencing life's challenges which can create a sense of discontentment, discomfort and disconnection from ourselves and the world around us. Many seek therapy to explore everyday struggles, relationship patterns or more deeply rooted trauma, but some may also have a sense that something just feels off and cannot place what that means for them just yet.
Whatever the reason or whether that is known at all, together we can create a grounded space to nurture each part of you with empathy, curiosity, openness and understanding. Our work can help support you to:

Unravel your thoughts, feelings and emotions in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space
Develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns and behaviours
Improve personal boundaries, communication, and interpersonal relationships
Learn healthier coping mechanisms for stress and difficult emotions
Build upon your own inner strength and tools
Develop autonomy and confidence on your path towards inner and outer change

My Approach
My approach is to walk alongside you in your unique experience of the world, to explore your perspective and the distinct lens you embody.

I draw upon Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, and elements from DBT and Internal Family systems to guide our work, meaning I will integrate an approach relevant to your session. We will reflect on both challenges present in the here and now, whilst also considering the influence of the past.

I integrate Somatic Psychotherapy to explore the mind/body connection where relevant. I believe there is a wisdom our body holds, which can be key in unlocking certain emotions and feelings. By developing a deeper understanding of how the mind, body and nervous system are interlinked we can gain further insight into specific behaviours and certain patterns that we may be stuck in. This can support us to work through any unprocessed trauma held within the body.

Sharing your inner world can feel uncomfortable and unfamiliar at times, but is a courageous step on the path towards self-transformation. Our relationship together can be a powerful tool in cultivating a sense of connection, internal security and safety on the path towards change. It can also offer an insight into how you relate to yourself, and others around you. Supporting you to feel more integrated and empowered.
